Why is The Gallery Printers the best at Printing Services?

Our system uses the high quality pigment inks.  As well, we use highest quality acid neutral papers to provide longevity to the appearance of your product.

The new imagePROGRAF provides you with stunning black-and-white prints with deep blacks, detailed gradations, and a wide color gamut that accurately reproduces the most difficult colors. Featuring a PF-10 print head providing a max resolution of 2400 x 1200 dpi, the printer utilizes a 1.28″ wide print head with 18,432 nozzles equipped with anti-clogging FINE technology. The Pro-2100 also makes use of the LUCIA PRO 11-Color plus Chroma Optimizer ink system to provide incredibly accurate color reproduction, outstanding image clarity, and enhanced detail in darker areas. A built-in multi-sensor ensures color consistency from one print to the next.

Why use Pigment Ink?

Pigment ink is found in top-end photo printers, capable of high quality output onto a variety of media. It also has durable output as pigment inks don’t smudge and are lightfast- ideal for photos that will be on display.

Pigment inks, such as those in Canon’s LUCIA ink system, provide accurate color reproduction, outstanding image clarity, and enhanced detail in darker areas of the print. They also tend to be a bit more colourfast than dye-based inks.

What do I need to know about canvas printing?

As a standard canvas prints are printed with a 2″ border allowance for stretching on 1.5″ stretcher bars. The image can be mirrored (popular for wrapping), extended or included black, white or grey borders. If the final product is not being stretched and your work requires no borders, this should be indicated prior.

What do I need to know about proofing?

We offer in house proofing. Colour corrections, cropping and some edits. This should be requested by quote.

How much does printing service cost?

Please contact us directly for pricing and shipping if applicable.  Bulk rates may apply.

What do I need to know about image proportions?

It may seem like common sense, but checking aspect ratios after final edits are complete is important.

Images not proportional to the final paper size will be automatically cropped. To avoid cropping your image to the paper size please provide instructions, “DO NOT CROP” in your order. Your image will then be fitted to the paper size. Note that when the ratio size does not match the paper size the result will be white borders on the top and bottom OR on the left and right sides of the print. (See the chart below).
